A Hundred Days.
Like a Hundred Years.

One hundred days of captivity. Many groups in Britain held prayer vigils for Norman Kember and the other CPT captives.

A senior Iraqi general was killed by a sniper in Baghdad Monday. Car bombs around Baghdad killed nine and wounded at least 24, many of them children.

Intense political maneuvering continued, with no resolution in sight.

Hmmmmm. A British general said -- and UK defense ministry officials denied -- that Britain plans to pull out almost all of its troops from Iraq by mid-2008.

And there was no news on Monday of the fate of Tom Fox or the other CPT captives. One hundred days of captivity is one hundred too many -- we call on the captors to release them, unharmed, at once!
